The resignation of Mr. D. M. Rae, principal of the Auckland Training College since 1929, on his election to Parliament as member for Parnell, was received at a meeting of the Auckland Education Board to-day. (P.A.). , x Mr. V. H. Conway, works foreman, Railway Workshops, Greymouth, has received advice of his transfer on promotion to the position of car and wagon inspector, Invercargill.
