War Prisoners Beheaded

A French military tribunal at Saigon sentenced to death a Japanese, Captain Furukawa, on charges of beheading 40 French prisoners and torturing and killing .two others, says a French press agency. The tribunal similarly sentenced an unnamed sergeant, who was convicted in his absence of complicity.—Paris, Feb. 17.
