Commended by Police
The prompt action of a schoolboy and a young man which resulted in the rescue from drowning of an elderly man swimming in the Hutt I river, near Taita, has received the' commendation of the Lower Hutt police. The young man was Leonard William Sanders, a dairyman, and the boy was Frederick Laurence Gorrie, aged 14, a pupil of the Huttj Valley Memorial Technical College.; —(P.A.) I
