Hokitika Tokanui (near Te Awamutu) Christchurch Ravensthorpe (near Papakura) Seacliff Porirua NURSES: RATES OF PAY:— Ist. year .. £230 p.a. less £5O p.a. for board (£3 p.w. and board and lodging after payment of taxes). 2nd. year .. £245. p.a. loss £5O p.a. for board (£3/5/- p.w. and board and lodging after payment of taxes.) 3rd. year .. £260 p.a. less £5O p.a. for board (£3/10/- p.w. and board and lodging after payment of taxes). 4th. year .. *£275 p.a'. less £5O p.a. for board (£3/15/- p.w. and board and lodging after payment of taxes). to passing Senior Examinatiqp. Staff Nurses .. £3OO Sisters .. .. £325 Excellent accommodation (separate rooms) available at Nurses’ Home. When hospital fully staffed, nurses have every third day- off-duty and two months’ leave per annum to compensate for hours worked. Overtime is payable at time and a half (3/4 per hour for first year nurse) for time worked beyond ordinary duty of approx. 40 hours per week. f Cooks and ) Rates of pay as for Nurses.
