WATER CRISIS
BURST MAINS IN LONDON (Rec. 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, February 3. ” The start of Britain’s “great thaw” brought a crisis to the London Metropolitan Water Board. Mobile water tanks, built for wartime emergencies, are being used in many districts.
