Australian Share Market. Ceiling price controls on shares and conditions relating to the minimum holding period of shares before resale will be lifted on December 31 The Attorney-General (Dr. H. v. Evatt), in the House of Representatives to-day, said the clauses by which these controls were to be continued into 1947 would be deleted from the Defence (Transition Period) Bill, according to the Sydney Sun. The effect of this is that shares transaction control will automatically lapse when the National Security Act by which they are imposed lapses at the end of the year.
