Mr, Stalin Reported to be ill
(Rec. 2 p.m.) LONDON, December 3. Two Istanbul newspapers today carried statements asser/t- 1 ing that Mr. Stalin is seriously ill, reports the Associated Press Istanbul correspondent. The newspaper Tanin said that Mr. Stalin is so ill that all high Soviet officials and his closest friends are now near him.
The newspaper Tasvir said » that Mr. Stalin’s illness has taken a dangerous course.
Neither newspaper indicated the nature of the illness.
