TROUBLE IN BOMBAY
SITUATION “TOOK A TURN FOR THE WORSE” (Rec. 11.45 a.m.) BOMBAY, Nov. 3. The police fired nine times in widely-separated areas to-day. It was officially stated that the situation “took a turn for the worse.” Fifty-four were arrested, two killed, and 15 wounded by stabbing. ’
