COMPETENCE TO ENTER MARRIAGE SUPREME COURT RULING (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Oct. 18. “It appears from these decisions that an insane person may contract a valid marriage in a lucid interval,” said Mr. Justice Fair to-day, in dismissing a petition by a woman to have her marriage annulled on the ground that at the time of the marriage her husband was of unsound mind. His Honor quoted four decisions, adding that notwithstanding the irresponsible and eccentric conduct of the husband before, at the time of the marriage he was competent to enter marriage.
