AERO CLUB DINNER
REFERENCE TO MEMBERS’ WAR RECORDS Among the guests of honour at the reunion dinner held by the Greymouth Aero Club (Inc.) last evening were Group Captain D. J. Scott, Squadron Leader W. D. Heaphy, Flight Lieutenant E. Dalcom, and Mr. F. "Molloy. Mr. E. M. Good, president of the club, was in the chair. About 50 members were present. Mention was made of the outstanding record of club members during the war. The ready assistance of citizens in the placing of the club on a sound working basis again was also mentioned. The West Coast United Aero Club, it was stated, expected to have two further machines available at an early date, their purchase from the Government having been arranged by the raising of debentures. Tributes were paid to the voluntary efforts of the personnel of Air Travel (N.Z.), Ltd., who, at weekends, had acted as pilot-instructors and ground engineers in the training of pupil members of the club.
