Brunner to Sponsor Women's Team
The Briiriher Cricket Club will sponsor a womeh’s team in the* cbrhpetitioh being organised by the West Coast Cricket Association this season. This decision was made at a meeting convened by the club last evening. It was further resolved that a combined field day be held next Saturday; Officers Elected at Hbkitika The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the West-, land Cricket Sub-Association:— Patron, Mr. E. Howat; president, Mr. A. Thomas; secretary-treasurer, Mr. F. D. Gillespie; postponement committee, Mr. M. Keenan; selectors, Messrs. A. Thomas, W. Willoughby, and J. Cooper. Opening day was fixed for November 3. • .
