BOXING Robertson Beats Endicott
(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH.. Aug. 21. A professional bout between Henry Robertson (Christchurch), list 41b, and Frank Endicott (Australia), lOst 121 b, ended in a win for Robertson at the end of the eighth round, when the referee, Mr E. Pocock, acting on medical advice, stopped the contest. In the second round, Robertson opened up a cut over Endicott’s right eye, and the Australian fought at a disadvantage from then on. Robertson was well ahead on points when the bout was stopped.
