Empire Governor-Generals
Mr Garfield Case (Progressive Conservative, Ontario), in a speech in the Canadian House of Commons, suggested that future governorgenerals of Canada should be chosen from various parts of the Empire. Thus a governor-general from another part of the Commonwealth could tell Canada about his country and take home views about Canada. —Ottawa, July 16.
