BURMA GOVERNMENT

REPORT TO BE MADE TO BRITAIN (Recd. 11 a.m.) LONDON, June 2. Sir Henry Knight has been appointed acting-Governor of Burma during the incapacitation of Sir Reginald Dorman-Smith, which is expected to last some weeks, owing to a severe attack of amoebic dysentry. Sir Reginald when he has recovered, will come to London at the request of the Government, to report on the general situation in Burma following the eight months of civil government.
