New Bank of England Governor
An Eton and Cambridge scholar, who was a Labour candidate in'the 1936 elections, has been appointed Governor of the Bank of England. He is George Wansbrough, who was a student of economics under Lord Keynes. He now succeeds Lord Keynes.—London, May 31.
