CAR DRIVER KILLED
ACCIDENT AT IR’WBLL
(P.A.) .CHRISTCHURCH, May 30. The driver, Leonard Lewis O’Connor, was killed when a car became out of control and overturned at Irv. ell on the main road between Leeston and Southbridge at 1.35 a.m. yesterday. Mr. O’Connor, who was a farming contractor at Southbridge, was a single man, aged 30, and his parents live at 58 Rose street, Spreydon. A slight bead injury was received by the owner of the car, Al--1 ert Douglas Riddens. of Southbridge, who was sitting in the car beside Mr. O’Connor.
