The result of the election for the North-west ward representative on the Canterbury Education Board, which includes part of Canterbury and part of the West Coast, has been announced as follow: . J. F. McDougall (Hokitika) .. 20b E. C. Topp (Canterbury) .. .. 116 C. H. Guthrey (Hokitika) .. 40 Mr McDougall, the successful candidate, will replace Mr A. Lawn, of Hokitika, who has retired.
