WESTLAND SEAT
DISTRICT EXPANDED BRUNNER, RUNANGA AND BLACKBALL REEFTON IN BULLER AREA (P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 4. The new Westland electorate proposed by the commission consists of the county of Westland, together with tjie boroughs of Ross, -Hokitika, Kumara, Greymouth, .Brunner, and Runanga; and also that part of the county of Grey lying south of a line running from the confluence of the Waipuna and Grey rivers, about two miles up the Grey river from Ikamatua, along the Waipuna river and Noble’s creek to the source of Noble’s creek, across the summit of Napoleon hill, thence to the Grey river and along the Grey river to Blackball creek; thence along the Blackball creek to a point in line with Harper street in Blackball, thence along Ford creek to Paparoa creek and along Papal oa creek to its source in the Paparoa range (this includes the township of Blackball); thence along the ridge passing through Mount Davey to the eastern boundary of Runanga borough ana along that boundary to Seven Mile creek and along that creek to the 563 Buller includes that part of the county of Grey north of the line described above. It also comprises the counties of Collingwood, Takaka, Buller, Murchison, and inangahua, and tne borough of Westport; also that part of the county of Waimea not included in the proposed Nelson electorate. Roughly the boundary line runs west of Wai-ltl, Wakefield, Spring Grove, Waimea West, Redwoods Valley, Mahana and Motueka, these places being in tne propose' Nelson electorate.
