Newspapers for Canberra.

Sir Earle Page, in the Australian House of Representatives, asked the Attorney-General (Dr. H. V. Evatt) if, in view of the importance to members of Parliament of having available the maximum possible information about New Zealand, he would enable air mails to be used to bring New Zealand newspapers to Australia for inclusion in the Parliamentary library.

At present the New Zealand newspapers were a fortnight old, while The Times of only a few days ago was on file,—Canberra, March 21.
