STRIKE AT LYTTELTON

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 19. Because of the strike at Lyttelton the Canterbury Shipping Company’s vessel Storm,, which was to have sailed from Wellington to-morrow to Lyttelton, has been diverted to Timaru. Anqther ship, the Union Company’s Waipahi, which was to have put in, at Lyttelton en route from Oamaru to Wellington, will now proceed direct.
