(The rainfall to date this year is 117.55 inches.) The depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 26ft 2in. WEATHER FORECAST. The following is the district forecast, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, to-day: — Situation: An anti-cyclone is over the north Tasman. Pressure is low south of New Zealand.
Forecast to 5 p.m. Saturday: Moderate to fresh winds, westerlies predominating; cloudy, with scattered showers becoming more general tomorrow. Temperatures moderate.
Further outlook: Scattered showers.
