PARTITION OF IRELAND

LASKI’S OPPOSITION (Recd. 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 7. The partition of Ireland was denounced by Professor Harold Laski, in an interview on arrival at Rineannia by air from New York. “I speak as an official of the Socialist Party in Britain, though an unofficial Socialist of the Government. I argue it is a tragic waste and duplication to have two separate administrations in a country so small. I should be very interested to see what would result if we withdrew the subsidies from the Northern Government as I think we are morally -entitled.”
