FATAL COLLISION GISBORNE, October 25. A collision between cars in Tolaga Bay township late yesterday resulted in the death of one man and injuries to a second. The . victims were:—Killed: Cyril William (Pat.) Leahy, aged 45 years, married, with two children, a development officer attached to we Gisborne Office of the Native Department. Injured: Alexander Forbes Taylor, aged 30 years a surveyor, married, with two children. He received severe injuries to the face m the vicinity of the eyes. . The cars collided in the centie ol an intersection and Leahy was flung out, landing on his head on the road and died within a few minutes, ine occupants of the other car, driven by Henry Augustus Roberts, a wooiclasser, of Tolaga Bay, his wife and two children, escaped uninjured.
