N.S.W. VICTORY GESTURE. SYDNEY, September 4. Prisoners in State gaols serving sentences up to three months will obtain a reduction, of seven days under the plan approved by the Minister of Justice, Mr. Downing, to mark the enct of the Pacific war. ’ Prisoners serving between three months and six months will obtain a remission of 14 days in their sentences. Up to 12 months the remission will be one month; between one year and two years, two months; two to three years, three months; three to four years, four months; four to five years', five months; and over live years, six months.
