GERMANS IN PORTUGAL LONDON, September 14. Reporting on the revival of German activity in Portugual, which he says has been noted with surprise by the Portuguese as well as foreign observers, the Lisbon correspondent'of “The Times” says: “In the closing days of the war most German firm; were closed by the Portuguese au.th-> orities, but within a lew days some were permitted to resume business, and to-day the majority are again in full operation, and people are wondering with whom they are nowdealing. The correspondent adds that the offices of German shipping and air lines were never closed,- and are now carrying on as Portuguese tourist agencies.
