TO MAKE THE MOST OF OYSTERS Oysters are not as plentiful as in normal times. When you are able to obtain a supply, a few oysters will go a long way in various oyster savouries using Fether-Flake. Here is a recipe: Oyster Fingers: A lb. Fether-Flake rolled in Win. thickness. Cut in small strips and bake. When cooked split and fill with following mixture: 1 oz. flour, 1 oz. butter, | pint milk, A teaspoon lemon juice, salt and pepper. Make sauce with above ingredients. Beard IJdoz. oysters, chop and add to sauce (do not boil). Remember to leave Fether-Flake for 15 minutes after rolling out to ensure lightness. Fether-Flake is sold only by Ernest Adams’ Cake Shops and Agencies at lid. per lb. —Advt.
