There was a considerable, number of fishermen for whitebait lining the banks of the Grev River this morning and this' afternoon, despite the apparently unfavourable conditions, the swell on the bar and the effect of recent heavy rain on th eriver. Only small catches were reported on the 'Greymouth side of the river. The retail price for the bait is still 5/- a Pint. |
