GENERAL FREYBERG’S MESSAGE (Rec. 12.10 p.m.) ROME, Sept. 11. General Freyberg, in a message to all ranks of the Second New Zealand Division, said that, when the -work in Europe ended, they would be shipped home as soon as Transport, was available. . _. . it was understood the whole Division would be sent home by Fc-bru-arv, when General Freyberg is due mYake up his apo'intrnent.as Gover-nor-General. The Division, before departure from Italy, will be asked to supply 5,000 unmarried volunteers to serve in the occupation forces in the Pacific.
