Student dental nurses are accommodated at hostc-ls associated with the Training School, and due care is given to their health and welfare.

SALARY —(a) Student dental nurses receive £95 p.a. while training, and those whose home is not in Wellington receive in addition a lodging allowance of £4O p.a. (b) On completion of training, the commencing salary for a school denial nurse is £225 p.a., increasing over a period of seven years to £2BO p.a. Further promotion to positions as Dental Tutor Sisters and Dental Nurse Inspectors is available to nurses of suitable experience and ability. In addition to salaries quoted above, a cost of living allowance of £26 p.a. is payable to both student and trained school dental nurses.
