RUNANGA NOTES
[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] At the weekly meeting of the Runanga Debating Club on Thursday the annual impromptu speech competition was held. Thirteen members took part, and all members judged each speaker and the points were totalled. The following secured the highest marks: A. Keown 1017, S, Braithwaite 992, W. Williams 991.
