LEAGUE FOOTBALL
TO-MORROW’S GAMES. Further games in the West Coast Rugby League’s senior competition will be played to-morrow after a break for last week’s rep. game. There will be a good deal of interest in the third meeting of Blackball and Runanga, at Blackball, but Blackball have won the previous two games and with Runanga having to concede a victory to Ngahere in the meantime, it dees not seem likely that they will check BJackball’s line of victories. There was only a margin of seven points between the teams when they played at Wingham Park, though Blackball were by far superior, and Runanga will have to show further improvement to hold Blackball any closer. The game at Wingham Park between Ngahere and Marist should also draw a "gate.” The teams drew at their last match, while previous to that Ngahere were the conquerors, but .in the past few weeks the improvement has been on the side of Ngahere alone, and unless Marist gives a better performance to-mor-row, Ngahere should receive a further two points. The teams are equal, on the championship ladder. Kohinoor and Brunner will provide the third game, and ihis again should result in. an even contest. A draw and a .win —their only one—for Kohinoor is the result o.t the previous meetings of the teams, but Brunner has made pro/rc/s. anq . . be expected to givo a oeaer exhimtion. There shou.id be very iiuie octweon these torn sides. Lower grade games will ne pmyou at Wingham Park. NgMicre. Namm-•'--I. ICiiiiKi: < ik! o/L-iii'.cr.
