A pen of 20 two-tooth wethers made 24/6, a pen of 20 hoggets 20/and another of 52 hoggets made 14/-, while a small pen of ewes sold lor 13/0. • The fat lamb entry totalled 300, and quality was poorly represented. Apart from a few pens of steers, entry in the store cattle section comprised mixed breed cows in backward condition which ranged in price from £2 to £7. The steer sold freely. > Both cows and heifers in the dairy cattle sale lacked quality and the sale was lifeless, and lost all last week’s gain. Apart from a Friesian which made £l9, there were not prices of note.
