LEAGUE FOOTBALL
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE The management committee of the West Coast Rugby League decided at a meeting last evening that the. senior and junior competitions open with a one-round competition, to be followed by the championship of two rounds and the knock-out competition. Lower-grade competitions decided on were: Schoolboys (sixth and seventh grades),'third grade (under 19 years or under 10 stone), fourth grade (under 16 ,or under nine stone). Clubs are to be asked tc nominate selectors and teams for ail grades. It was decided to supply footballs to ail schools requiring them. The Marist Club was granted the use of Wingham Park for March 25. Messrs Oakley and Sweetman were . appointed delegates to the Council of Sport. Rev. Brother Fabian and Mr C Stone; who were elected as additional members of the management committee, were welcomed. A motion of sympathy was passed with the relations of the late Mrs P. Manderson.
