WASHINGTON, February 15. Senator Langer has introduced in the Senate legislation directing the United States Attorney-General to determine whether Charlie Chaplin should* be deported as being an undesirable alien. Senator Langer said that the United States Immigration Bureau had told Him that there was not sufficient evidence of immorality to* warrant Chaplin’s deportation. Senator Langer contended that. Chaplin should be deported- on the basis of ibis own evidence in the case in which Miss Barry, film actress, sued him for paternity of her child.
