S. AFRICAN GOLDFIELD.
LONDON, December 28

Sir Ernest Oppenheimer, one of the leaders in the goldmining industry, says the fields are centred round Odendaals Rust, and that an area for intensive prospecting covers 3000 square miles. At least four great mines are foreseen, each requiring about four million sterling to bring them to full production.
