LONDON, November 4. When the name, of an 11-year-old West Hartlepool boy indicted for the manslaughter of another boy was called at Durham Assiges yesterday, Mr. Justice Charles said: “I cannot try a baby, and I won’t allow him to go into the dock. The boy was given a seat at the end of the barrister s bench. The Crown offered no evidence. and the boy was discharged. It had been alleged that he threw a stone at a playmate, causing a fatal injury.
