DANISH TOWER DESTROYED
(Recd. 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 14. The Odina Towei’ at Odense, the second largest street tower in Europe after the Eiffel Tower, was destroyed this morning 'by an explosion, states the Danish Press Service in a message from Stockholm. The tower was 525 feet high and built in 1935. It was used by the Germans as an important radio transmitting and meteorological station.
