Situation: The deep depression centred off South Westland is moving south-eastward. Forecast to 5 p.m., Friday: Fresh northerly to westerly winds, becoming light to moderate and variable during the night; weather, _ cloudy with "scattered showers, but improving by to-morrow; temperatures, cooler. Further outlook: Fair.
