DUTCH GIRLS AND SOLDIERS.

NEW YORK, Dec. 13. A Chicago “Sun” correspondent at Masstricht, Holland, says: Posters giving warning that Dutch girls who consort with United States troops will have their heads shaved have appeared irpHolland. An American civil affairs'Yifficer tore down one poster, but it was replaced over-night. The first of the posters appeared some time ago when Maastricht was captured. Since then the posters have appeared in most of the liberated areas of Holland. The Dutch Liaison Officer with the United States forces said that the people of Holland are exhorted daily from the pulpit to keep their daughters away from the soldiers.

An American soldier told the “Sun” correspondent: “It is apparently all right for Americans to die to liberate Holland, but they must not be treated as friends.”
