This test has been successfully passed.' The Warsaw rising has been-crushed, the Bolshevik putsch in Slovakia is drawing to an end, and in Hungary a change ol Government has brought the Nationalists' forces to.the lead. A “Daily Telegraph” correspondent at Stockholm says that, according to a German underground ’ report, Himmler has arrested Scheppmann, to whom Hitler entrusted the training of the Volks Sturm, and Scheppmann is now in the hands of the Gestapo for complicity in the attempt to assassinate Hitler on June 1.

The German radio, however, announced on October 26 that Scheppmann was suffering from a nervous breakdown. It added “he needs a change of air.” But at that very time according to the underground report, Scheppmann was almost dying under torture, to which Himmler’s agents were subjecting him.
