The staff of Herb Moore held a dance recently, the proceeds of which were donated for gift parcels sent from Greymouth to men serving overseas. The amount raised was £9/2/-.

Members of the Korodale League team and the Wellington boxing team left this morning, on return .to Wellington. Yesterday they visited the Blackball State mine and the Ngahere gold dredge.
