WELLINGTON, June 16. An agreement signed by D’Arcy Baden Lobb, 22, carrier, when he hired a rental car included a provision that he was not to use it to attend any public fixtures, such as races, shows or sports meetings. He was charged to-day with tailing to comply with the conditions by driving to Trentham to> allow a passenger to attend the races. He wa ■ fined £5, with costs, and on a vmther charge of unlawfully purchasing oil fuel he was fined £lO, wii.h costs. It was stated that a member of the Air-Force on final leave had been issued with a license for 10 gallons/ and Lobb had been given this.
