Sgt. L. B. Phillips and Sgt. J. Congreve, who recently returned to New Zealand from overseas service, will return to Greymouth to-morrow.
Mr. D. G. Morris, who prior to serving in the Middle East forces was a telegraphist on the staff of the Hokitika Post Office, yesterday commenced dutv in a similar position at the Chief Post Office. Greymouth.
Mr. S. C. F. Treweek, Senior Supervisor ol the Postal Branch, Chief Post Office. Greymouth, will leave next Thursday lor ' Christchurch to fill a similar position at the Chief Post Office.
Mr. J. Keeney, of Cobden, has been appointed as the farmer member of the Greymouth Rebahilitation Committee, and his appointment has been approved by the Rehabilitation Board.
Mr. T. Shaw, of the staff of the Rehabilitation Department, Greymouth, left, to-day, on transfer to Nelson. He was accompanied by Mrs. Shaw. Mr. W. W. Turner, of Westport, has joined the staff of the Department at Grey mouth.

The death occurred this afternoon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. A. Murtagh, Brick Street, Greymouth, of Mrs. Margaret Lucy Rothwell, aged 80 years. Deceased had resided practically all her hie on the West Coast, at Ross and Kumara for many years, and for the past 35 years at Greymouth. Her husband predeceased her about 12 years ago. She is survived by three daughters. Mesdames Murtagh and C. Watson (Greymouth) and W. Swift (Te Kuiti). and four sons, Richard (Wellington). Thomas (Christchurch) and Nathan and Warwick (Greymouth); also one brother, Mr. William Tuckey (Maori Creek) and two sisters, Mesdames C. Rugg and Morris (Hornby).
