REEFTON, January 22

Alajor Skinner, M.P., Minister of Rehabilitation, is to visit Reefton during the week-end. Rev. /R. BpracketL recently appointed minister of Knox Church, Reefton, was ordained and inducted to his new charge at a special service on Thursday evening. The Moderator of the Westland Presbytery,. Rev. A. McNeur (Westport) was the officiating minister,, and he was assisted by Revs. T. G. Campbell and W. S. Brettell. Mr A. Wells, Postmaster, Reefton, who has been on annual leave, has resumed duty. After being closed for a fortnight owing to the acute water shortage, the -Reefton swimming baths were refilled on Friday with the electric pump. Mrs N. Alborn sustained fairly extensive burns on the left hand, through the fusing of an electrical connection at her home.
