BUTTER FACTORY FIRE
TE AROHA, December 15
Fire at the- New Zealand Dairy Company's Waitoa butter factory resulted in a large portion being badly damaged. Valuable plant, including a new £2OOO cooler, was destroyed. The loss, partly covered by insurance, totals thousands of pounds. The stock of manufactured butter was saved.
