(Rec. 11.15 a.m.) LONDON. Nov. 24. A crowd gathered outside a fruit shop in London, -when two fresh pineapples from the Azores were placed in the window at a sale price of £6 each. FOOD "SUPPLIES NEW DELHI, November 24. Food rationing in Delhi would be introduced as soon as a scheme was ready, said Sir Jawai Srivastava. Food Member of the Government of India, speaking during a food debate by the Council of State. Rationing , would affect everybody, from the Viceroy downwards, he said. He also announced that the Government of India had taken over the responsibility for feeding Greater Calcutta.
