TOTARA FLAT SALE The National Mortgage and Agency Co., Ltd., report on the above sale held on Thurslay as follows:— There was a medium entry of store cattle, including several lines of good coloured three-year and fouryear steers offered to a good attendance of buyers. Competition was keen and the whole of the yarding was disposed of. The top price for a line of 4yr. steers was £l2/17/6 and another pen realised £l2/15/-. The following is a list of our principal sales:—On account of D. McVicar. 10 3yr. steers £lO/17/6, 6 Jersey steers £4/7/6, 3 yearling steers £4 7/6, 1 store cow £4/10/-. A/c. W. Dudley, 7 2yr. steers £6/17/6, and 1 forward cow £6/12/6. MINING. Maori Gold return for the week ending November 19 was 47ozs 12dwt. for 119 hours, 12,000 yards being treated.
