CHARGE DISMISSED.

Reserved judgment was given in a case heard on February 15, 1943, when Anthony Henry Cawley, represented by Mr. W. D. Taylor, pleaded not guilty to a charge that on January" 26 being the driver of a motor truck approaching the intersection of Cowper Street and Hospital Road he failed to give way to traffic approaching from his right. The case arose out of a collision. The Magistrate said that the case had been held over pending a civil case but no action had been taken in that matter and he had been asked to finalise the case. He had no evidence that the locality concerned was an intersection and he could not 'regard it as other than a right-hand bend. The charge would' therefore be dismissed.
