Experiencing a sitting of record duration, the Christchurch Manpower Appeal Committee sat in Greymouth till 11.45 o’clock last evening. The hearing commenced at 11.15 a.m., and allowing for luncheon and tea breaks lasted an aggregate of 10i hours. A variety of cases was handled, and in most instances decision was reserved and will probably be announced from Christchurch on Monday.
