JERUSALEM, Sept. 27. After a seven weeks’ hearing a Military Court sentenced Leib Sirkin and Abraham Raichlin, Jewish civilians, to 10 and 17 years’ imprisonment respectively. The prosecution alleged that they were connected with an* organisation which directed the stealing of large - quantities of ammunition, which they allegedly received. The chief witnesses for the prosecution were two Britishers, sentenced last month. CLOTHING IN CANADA. (Rec. 11 a.m.) OTTAWA, Sept. 27 The Prices Board announced that cuffed trousers and an extra pair of trousers-will be permitted in future. The Board explained that’both were banned when developments in the Pacific indicated the entire Australian wool supply to Canada might be cut off. Recent developments in the Pacific seem to ensure continued availability of Australian wool, and the Canadian armed forces’ needs for uniforms are now less burdensome.
